L'Épicerie du Cloître.
Both within its walls and outside, Le Cloître makes food from morning until night. We offer a fresh and generous breakfast buffet under a giant Paulownia or surrounded by the warm decor of India Mahdavi —you choose! Lunch in the shade, dinner on the terrace, a glass of wine on the rooftop where you can watch the bustling crowd.
Across the hotel stands the Épicerie of Le Cloître, a small multiple-function restaurant: it’s open for aperitifs with friends, for lunch and dinner. The cuisine is simple, succulent, and dynamic. Tapas, local products, and regional wines: the menu wanders through the seasons. The seasonings travel from Provence to Japan. The menu is for sharing and conviviality. You can try from a selection of food jars and ingredients, either in-store or take-away.
Le Cloître and its Épicerie, the ultimate gourmet hideout of Arles, seduce some, fascinate others, and arouse the culinary enjoyment of all.
All summer, Joaquin Cardoso, Chef of the Carlota in Mexico City, signs the menu of this little restaurant in the town centre. Delicious, fresh, intense and colourful dishes under both local and Mexican influence.
